Kim Josling

Chief Financial Officer

Kim was appointed CFO in February 2018 having joined the company two years earlier.  Prior to joining Snowy Kim held several senior management roles at Origin Energy Limited leading a broad range of finance, strategy, commercial, risk, internal audit and compliance activities. Kim joined Origin Energy in 2009 from its subsidiary, Contact Energy, where she was Chief Financial Officer. Before joining Contact, Kim worked with Deloitte (New Zealand and Canada), and related CA firms, gaining wide experience in the audit, advisory and consulting sectors, primarily in the energy, manufacturing and distribution industries.

Scott MacKillop

Chief Corporate Affairs Officer

Scott was appointed as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer on 1 July 2024. With more than 20 years in communications and public relations, Scott’s professional experience includes agency-side marketing and public relations consultancy to some of Australia’s biggest brands, as well as senior public affairs leadership roles in the NSW Government. Scott started his career in broadcasting, including as a producer at leading news/talk station 2GB and writing for News Australia’s digital channels. Immediately before joining Snowy Hydro, Scott was Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Western Sydney International Airport.

At Snowy Hydro, Scott leads the team responsible for reputation management, sustainability, community engagement and social impact, brand architecture, internal engagement, as well as media, stakeholder and government relations. He is passionate about the opportunity his role creates to deliver outstanding outcomes for people and communities in the context of Australia’s energy transition.

Maia Schweizer

Chief Transformation Officer

As Chief Transformation Officer, Maia is responsible for driving Snowy Hydro’s multi-year transformation program to ensure the organisation and its people are equipped to maintain its leadership position in an evolving energy sector.

Maia has more than 15 years of experience across generation operations, commercial strategy, marketing and capital project delivery. During this time Maia has held executive roles with Origin, Fortescue and most recently SunDrive Solar, a solar technology startup.

Maia has also served as CEO of Queensland Government-owned low-emissions electricity generation, trading and retail business CleanCo Queensland and currently serves as a non-executive director of Blue Economy CRC, a research cooperative focused on exploring opportunities for marine science and industry.

Roger Whitby

Chief Operating Officer

Roger Whitby (B Eng 1st Class Hons) was appointed Chief Operating Officer of Snowy Hydro in February 2016. Prior to that Roger spent more than a decade as Snowy Hydro’s Executive Officer Trading. Roger has extensive experience in energy markets and trading and in-depth knowledge of the operations and maintenance of the Snowy Scheme and Snowy Hydro’s generation assets. He has numerous previous roles in project management and engineering.

Gordon Wymer

Chief Commercial Officer

Gordon is Snowy Hydro’s Chief Commercial Officer, with responsibility for corporate strategy, M&A, finance and credit rating, merchant portfolio and risk, and IT strategy. Gordon’s 20 year involvement in the energy industry started with 10 years of energy industry advisory, mergers and acquisitions roles at Fay, Richwhite and UBS. Gordon joined Snowy Hydro in 2003. He was formerly the CFO and played a leading role in the development of Snowy Hydro’s risk management framework and the company’s evolution from generator to its position as the fourth pillar in the National Electricity Market.

Daryl Young

Project Director – Hunter Power Project

Daryl Young was appointed Project Director of Snowy Hydro’s Hunter Power Project in May 2023. Daryl brings more than 30 years of experience in the mobilisation, project management and delivery of major capital works complex infrastructure initiatives throughout Australia and internationally.

A transformational leader with a reputation for successfully delivering multi-billion dollar projects and leading businesses, Daryl provides leading management expertise to both the engineering sectors and built environs based on his diverse portfolio of large-scale, high value project experiences across the region.

With key skills principally focused on transportation, energy, water, resources, rail, civil construction and retail and high-density building developments, Daryl has held senior executive and Board positions with some of Australia’s leading engineering and construction contractors.

Louise Thurgood

Non‑Executive Director, appointed effective 1 July 2024.

Louise is an accomplished executive and business leader, with 25 years’ experience in complex, fast-growing global companies in the banking, finance, and infrastructure sectors; as well as extensive experience in risk management.

Louise is currently a Deputy Chair Inland Rail, Non-Executive Director of Silk Logistics Holdings and CompanyB Limited (Belvoir) and founder and Director of Orion Mechanical Services along with being and a member of the National Standing Committee on Energy and the Environment for Global Access Partners (NSCEE).

Previously, Louise was a member of the Heritage Council of New South Wales. Past Non-Executive Director roles have included Sydney Metro, Moorebank Intermodal Company.
